Getting started (in the GPSDD app)

1. Download the free GPSDD app from the App Store / Play Store
2. Insert an IoT SIM (or a GPS-compatible SIM) into the device and switch it on
3. Log in with the details supplied with the product and connect the device
4. Fix the device firmly to the animal's collar, set a geofence and start tracking right away

We've written this section sincerely, so we're on the same page from the start and you can enjoy using it without any surprises later. Please take a moment to read it all before you decide. 🙏

• 1. Requires a SIM and internet: the GCOW sends its location over the mobile network, so it needs an IoT SIM or GPS-compatible SIM with data. If the SIM expires, the data runs out, or it's in an area with no signal at all, it can't send its location — this is normal for every GPS brand.
• 2. The solar panel needs sunlight: the device charges from sunlight, so animals should spend reasonable time outdoors in the sun. If they're in the shade or a dark pen for long periods, the battery may drop and need extra charging.
• 3. Accuracy depends on local signal: the position may be slightly off in signal dead zones, valleys or areas with a weak network. Every GPS has this limitation — it's not a fault.
• 4. IP67/68 waterproof for outdoor use: the device withstands sun, wind, rain and getting wet to the standard rating, but always check the cover/seal is fully closed after opening it, and avoid long submersion in deep mud.
• 5. Set up and care for it as described in the manual: please set up and install it following the supplied manual. If you get stuck anywhere, message our team directly — we're happy to help until it's working.
• 6. Warranty: the device has a 6-month warranty covering manufacturing defects. It doesn't cover damage from opening or modifying it, severe drops or impacts, or misuse.
